Morgenster Wine & Olive Estate, located at the gateway to the Western Cape wine-growing region, is a thriving olive and wine farm dating back to 1711, and produces internationally acclaimed Bordeaux-style wines and extra virgin olive oil of astounding quality. The winery, olive mill and tasting room facilities are solar powered. The sun provides approximately two thirds of the required electrical power to run pumps, olive press, and cooling units to keep the wine cellar. “Our goal is to preserve the essence of the fruit that goes into our wines and extra virgin olive oils.
