SHANGHAI, China, July 7, 2011 – JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“the Company") (NYSE: JKS), a fast-growing, vertically-integrated solar power product manufacturer with low-cost operations based in China, today announced the start of the construction of five ground-mounted solar projects by Solairedirect, the largest French pure play solar power company operating in France and sunbelt countries. These projects will use a total of 25 megawatts ("MW") of JinkoSolar-branded solar modules. Under the terms of an agreement, which is the first between the two companies, JinkoSolar started delivering its PV modules in the first quarter of 2011, and shipments will continue until the third quarter of 2011. “We are satisfied by JinkoSolar’s high-quality modules and believe they offer one of the best price-to-quality ratios in the industry,” said Mr. Thierry Lepercq, Solairedirect’s President. “Their solar modules will help us complete five of our ground-mounted projects. It is a very good thing for us to collaborate with JinkoSolar and as we expand our business and take on new solar projects in emerging markets such as India and Africa, we hope to continue working with JinkoSolar and develop a long-term relationship that will help both companies grow.” Mr. Arturo Herrero, Chief Marketing Officer at JinkoSolar, commented, “Solairedirect, which is one of the leading global French solar companys, has an impressive track record of providing service throughout the PV value chain, from solar panel production and PV system development to PV installations and project financing. Our agreement with Solairedirect illustrates the quality of our solar modules and should help further improve the bankability of our business. We hope to contribute to even more Solairedirect projects and work together to offer solutions that help lead to grid parity.”
